A virtual visit is an appointment with your Orlando Health physician. This means you will visit with a doctor utilizing a smart phone, tablet or computer through the MyChart® app.
The cost of your virtual visit is your standard insurance copay that you would pay in your physician’s office. With a virtual visit, you will pay over the phone, before your appointment.
Notes from virtual appointments will be available for patients in your MyChart account after all visits./p>
The service is available for patients that are established with Orlando Health Physician Associates primary care and are located in Florida during the time of the visit.
Yes. When clinically appropriate, Orlando Health physicians may prescribe medications. Due to Florida prescribing laws, narcotics and controlled substances cannot be prescribed through a virtual visit.
