Dr. Havron earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is board certified in general surgery with added qualifications in surgical critical care.  Dr. Havron’s interests include elective and emergency general surgery, anti-reflux surgery, surgical critical care and trauma surgery.  Dr. Havron is the Director of Surgical Simulation and he also oversees monthly “Mock Oral Prep” conference for the PGY 2-3 residents.
