Bio
Anjali Vyas, MD, MBA, is the president of Orlando Health Physician Associates and a vice president with Orlando Health. In addition to these roles, she is a practicing, board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in primary care, hospitalist medicine, and hospice and palliative care.
In her leadership and administrative roles she highly values practicing clinically, while also implementing system-wide strategies to improve each patient’s experience and provide high quality care.
Dr. Vyas has held several leadership positions in healthcare organizations throughout Central Florida, including roles as chief medical officer and interim chief executive officer of a local primary care group; associate medical director of a large hospice and palliative care organization; and chief executive officer of an accountable care organization.
Dr. Vyas’ Training
She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, graduating with high honors, and undergraduate degree from Rollins College. After completing a residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, she earned her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida, Hough Graduate School of Business in Gainesville.

Dr. Vyas has been a practicing physician in Central Florida since 2012 and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
She is active in many professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, American College of Physician Advisors, Medical Group Management Association, Florida Hospital Association, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, and National Association of Accountable Care Organizations.
