Bio
Dr. Timothy O’Leary is a double-board certified maternal fetal care physician with the Orlando Health Women’s Institute Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine. He works with women whose pregnancies are complicated by maternal medical problems or fetal congenital diseases. Dr. O’Leary has a special clinical interest in high-risk obstetrics and diagnostic ultrasound, and his expertise includes:
- Amniocentesis
- Chorionic villus sampling
- Diabetic and nutritional counseling
- Fetal echocardiogram
- First-trimester screening
- Genetic counseling
- Sonography
- Ultrasound
Dr. O’Leary’s Training
Dr. O’Leary earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a maternal fetal medicine fellowship at the University of South Florida Tampa General Hospital.
About Dr. O’Leary
Dr. O’Leary is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine and American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine.
An award-winning medical educator, Dr. O’Leary has contributed to numerous publications and often delivers presentations about advances in the field. He joined Orlando Health in 1993 and serves as assistant director of medical education for obstetrics and gynecology and chairman of the Institutional Review Board.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
