Comprehensive Stroke Program
At Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute, our multidisciplinary team understands that treating stroke, carotid stenosis and other cerebrovascular disorders demands rapid medical attention to prevent permanent damage or death. That’s why we have the most advanced diagnostic, treatment, surgical and management options available. Our Comprehensive Stroke Center is located at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, the region’s only Level One Trauma Center. The nationally recognized center is designated to treat the most critical and complex strokes.

Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute is honored to be recognized in the prestigious U.S. News & World Report’s 2023-2024 Best Hospitals rankings with a High Performing Hospital rating for Stroke, scoring in the top 10% of all rated hospitals. A program’s stroke score is based on multiple data categories, including patient survival, volume, discharging to home and more.
